“Bye Bye for Obidients” – Senator Nnamani asks supporters to dump Peter Obi

Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the federal lawmaker representing the Enugu East Senatorial District at the upper chamber, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has called on his supporters to dump the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

He told the members of his Ebeano political family to dump the “Obidient Movement”.

The former Enugu State governor, who made the call via posts on his social media handles, said his constituents would not afford to loose the governorship and State Assembly because of Peter Obi.

According to him, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has laid foundation in the State that cannot be ceded to another party.

Referring to the movement for Peter Obi’s presidency as bandwagon, the lawmaker said such would not be allowed to take place in Enugu.

Nnamani is the founder of the Ebeano political dynasty in Enugu State.

He wrote, “We cannot lay foundation for another political party and expect to umbrella on it 2 weeks later. NOT in Enugu! Not in ebeano “country” Let’s cut the …,,, and muuuvvvveee.

“Obidient ebeano! Take a break we see you guys after Governorship and State Assemblies. This is a message to all ebeano. We go! No bandwagon in Enugu! IT is game ON! .

“Politics is SERIOUS business. Not romantic Liason. We meet in February. May the majority win Enugu. We can not afford Bandwagon and loose Governorship and State Assemblies.

“Obidients Bye Bye for now. You win we congratulate you, after all we are kinsman.We win we meet again and roll”.

The stoning and burning to death of Ms Deborah Emmanuel is such a painful and heartbreaking story that happened before our eyes. I am talking about it again and again because this is not the first time this is happening, and if we don't do anything about it, this won't be the last.

It is easy for most of you to conclude that she caused her death by insulting the Prophet. But pause and ask yourself, what was the content of her "supposed" insult to the prophet? Who defines insult?

What was Jesus crucified of again? Was he not accused of blasphemy? What was the content of the blasphemy?

I remembered telling someone that he is ignorant of a certain topic, which truly he is, and he took it as an insult and started fighting me.

Those youths in Sokoto should not be living with humans, but the worst is the govt that has not even arrested anyone, they are the biggest evil before us.

The gruesome killing of the female student, whose name I understand to be Deborah, in Sokoto on allegations of blaspheming prophet Mohammed SAW must be investigated and the culprits should be severely punished.

Nasir El-Rufai insulted Christ, but Christians did not kill him! Nasir El-Rufai falsely accused Christians of being behind Boko Haram, but the Body of Christ did not set him ablaze. We were rather tolerant, leaving him to God. So, why must Deborah be so barbarically murdered?

Only yesterday, a Catholic priests was murdered in the den of terrorists who had abducted him. Catholics, to their credit, did not blame those who share the religion of those who killed him. So, why could they not have charged Deborah if at all the allegations of blasphemy were true?

On July 9, 2016, Evangelist Eunice Elisha was killed for preaching Christ in Kubwa, FCT. No one was punished. That same year, Bridget Agbahime was beheaded in Kano for blasphemy, no one was punished. The murder of Deborah must not go the same way

Governor Aminu Tambuwal is contesting to be President of Nigeria. How he handles the gruesome burning to death of Deborah on allegations of blaspheming prophet Mohammed SAW will send a very clear message to all Nigerians about how he intends to handle our diversity of religion and region!
