Do you seat or stand to drink water ???
*DRINKING WATER:*
*How & When?*
First of all, if you're not drinking 8 or more glasses of water every day, then now would be a good time to start because without water, our cells cannot survive. However, while not having sufficient water has many side-effects, it is equally important that we are mindful of 'how' this water is consumed. The way you choose to drink water affects your health since water is necessary for nutrition and to maintain life, beautiful skin, clean body organs, boost immunity, etc
💥Sit down to drink water rather than standing because when you drink water while standing, you disrupt the balance of fluids in the body and this may lead to a greater accumulation of fluids in the joints causing arthritis. On the other hand by sitting while drinking water, your muscles and nervous system are much more relaxed which helps the body tissues to absorb the water and other fluids more easily. Your kidneys also pace the filtration process while sitting.
💥Avoid drinking the water very fast all at once, rather take smaller sips gradually, swallow and breathe before taking the next few sips. This will allow every sip you take get properly absorbed. Drinking lots of water too fast at once causes bloating and discomfort which makes the body expel the water to create relief from this discomfort. Water expelled fast has not been absorbed by the tissues which leaves you dehydrated much as you have been drinking, so please drink your water the correct way for it to be able to help the body.
💥Avoid gulping large volumes of water during meals. You can drink a glass of water before taking meals so that you feel full to avoid over eating, and take a glass of water one hour after eating a meal to help food digest more easily and if you feel the need to drink water in between the meal (especially when eating dry foods), you can have just a few small sips not too much. Following this pattern will help those trying to reduce belly size.
