1. Retention of semen

Semen is alkaline

The va**na is normally acidic

When semen stays for long periods, it:

Raises va**nal pH

Reduces protective Lactobacillus bacteria

This encourages overgrowth of organisms bacteria , viruses or yeast infection

2. Moist environment favors microbial growth

Semen + va**nal secretions + sweat create warmth and moisture

This allows bacteria and fungi to multiply rapidly

Especially common in yeast infections

3. Transfer of external bacteria

Let me comment on the Ochanya r**e case; I generally refrain from discussing random real-life cases. Let me start by saying all the people around her failed her, from the nuclear to extended family to the society she found herself.
Does that mean after she was taken in by the extended family, she didn't go to her nuclear family to spend the holidays? If she did, her mother would definitely have known on time before it worsened. Because she would feel free to discuss whatever was bothering her without fear, compared to when she was visited in her uncle's home.
The fear of her predators wouldn't allow her to speak up. Likewise, the mother can guess from her gait, since she's still a child and it's forceful pe*******on.

To the aunt, what has she done to protect the girl under her care? If she knew early and didn't send the girl back to her beloved family before it was too late and took her life, God will ask. Or was she trying to protect their family name, which the father and son couldn't protect? She should know that even her own girl child is not safe in that house.

To the father and son, you won't go scot-free; you will meet your loop.

Facebook asks me to share my thoughts, so here's something. Not everything is suitable for social media. A couple of days ago, I saw a doctor on this app who I believe is a house officer, judging from his story. He was ranting that the workload is killing them, and he started to mention routine procedures they have to do on a daily basis during their calls.

I was astonished when he mentioned setting lines and giving IV medication, because what is so special about setting lines and giving drugs through it that even community health workers do.
But then I remembered the superiority mentality of some doctors, especially those at the top, who always want to make the public believe nurses are not good at what they were trained for by forcefully taking away procedures that add dignity and self-worth to the nursing profession. However, after collecting more than they can chew, the junior doctors complain of burnout, since they are usually the ones left with the work.
