HOW TO REDUCE THE POTENTIAL OF BEING SCA MMED ONLINE.
I think it's needed I share this secret to few people, who will be patient to read.
Many people give themselves out to
sca mmers unknowingly without having the knowledge of doing so.
Let's dive to the few points....
1. Making comments on Adverts online: Comments like .. price, I want, I need, am interested, send your account, shows
sca mmers your intention of getting the product, so they come for you privately acting like the seller. Boom π₯ π₯ π₯ money Don go.
2. Never comment your phone number on adverts: Some people go extra mile of putting their phone numbers there, asking the seller to call them. Exposing themselves to thousands of strangers.
3. Prices ridiculously cheap: Selling online is expensive. Sellers pay for advert, data/call card, reliable delivery companies aren't cheap. A customer after being
sca mmed by another hair vendor reached out to me, she showed me the hair that the seller wanted to sell for 8k, inside of me, I said the customer also is a thi ef for wanting to get hair of 45k for 8k. When you are getting a ridiculously cheap price, please beware!!!
4. Urgency activation: When you are not giving the opportunity to think, ask others or research and all you get is that the item remains 1 piece, if you don't pay now now that's the end. It's like a ploy to sc am.
Don't let anyone rush you to pay except you have been dealing with the person before, then it might be true.
The simplest, easiest and smartest thing to do when you see an advert is to read and watch. Instructions on how to buy the product will always be read or seen in the advert. Follow it up till you order instead of publicly commenting.
If Instructions are not clear, private message the company or call/whatsapp if a number is given.
Don't let anyone rush you to make a buying decision. If you are in a hurry, save the post or advert and come for it latter when you are less busy
Happy new month to you and yours.
