For years, I lived with pain I didn't understand.
It started with what seemed like an ordinary pain in my lower abdomen and side.
I treated it with medication.
When it came back, I took the same medication again.
I went to the hospital.
I saw a gynecologist.
I was told I needed a procedure to “clean my womb.”
I was confused.
How did I go from having unexplained pain to being told something was wrong with my womb?
I searched for answers myself. I tried things I found online. I convinced myself I was getting better.
Then my teeth started breaking.
Years passed.
The pain came back again this time so badly that I thought I might actually die.
I went to another hospital. I was told something was wrong with my appendix and that I needed surgery.
The surgery never happened.
And somehow, I went back to living my life as though everything was okay.
Until I left my country.
It was there, years after the pain first started, that I finally had the tests that changed everything.
What had been happening inside my body all those years?
I have put the beginning of this journey into a FREE mini e-book titled " I Thought It Was My Womb."
It is a short part of the story behind my full book, "The Silent Calculus" My Six-Year Journey Through Pain, Misdiagnosis, and Resilience.
You can read the mini e-book completely free.
