Are you a Veterinary Doctor or Animal Scientist looking for an opportunity to turn your knowledge into real income while supporting farmers across Nigeria?

We are recruiting passionate young professionals who can work closely with farmers by educating them and helping them access Surecow Smart Livestock Protection. This platform makes livestock healthcare and insurance simple, practical and accessible for farmers who want to protect their animals and their investment.

Your role is simple. Connect with farmers, introduce them to Surecow, educate them on how livestock healthcare and insurance works, and help them come onboard the platform. Every successful farmer you onboard earns you a commission, which means the more farmers you bring in, the more you earn.

This opportunity is perfect for Veterinary Doctors and Animal Scientists who want to expand their professional impact while building a rewarding income stream through the livestock sector.

Livestock healthcare and insurance for farmers has now been simplified through Surecow, making it easier for farmers to protect their animals and manage risks with confidence.

If you are interested in joining this growing movement and earning through commission while supporting farmers, send us a DM to get started.

Good livestock care is never a one man job. It is a team effort. 🐄

At Livestock247 our doctors do more than treat animals. They meet to train, share real field experiences, plan better strategies, and strengthen the bond that keeps the work moving smoothly.

These moments matter. They keep the team sharp, connected, and ready to deliver the quality livestock management our farmers and partners rely on every day.

Because when the team grows stronger, the service becomes even better.

Did you know that across the grazing lands of Nigeria, one of the country’s quietest economic forces is standing on four legs? Picture a livestock farmer watching a strong Red Bororo cattle cow grow fast and solid, the kind buyers look for in the beef market where demand never sleeps. That single cow represents more than meat. It represents income, trade and movement in a value chain that feeds millions.

Then you see the familiar White Fulani (Bunaji) cattle cow or the hardy Sokoto Gudali cattle cow. These breeds have quietly supported farmers for generations producing beef, giving milk and adapting to tough climates that would slow many others down.

Step into the dairy story and the crossbred Girolando cattle cow begins to fill milk cans with impressive yields even under tropical heat. In the south, resilient breeds like Keteku cattle and N'Dama cattle continue to thrive where disease pressure is high, protecting farmers from losses that could wipe out livelihoods.

When you pause and really look at it, the story becomes clear. That single cow in a farmer’s care carries economic weight. It supports rural income, strengthens food security and fuels a livestock economy with enormous potential for Nigeria’s growth if the right systems, investment and structure are in place.

At Livestock247, technology meets livestock management. We provide digital solutions that help farmers and businesses manage livestock efficiently, improve traceability and secure better returns from every animal.

begins from the fields, the grazing routes, the barns, and the local dairy markets of rural Nigeria where women rise before dawn and carry the livestock economy on their shoulders. Their work feeds families, protects livestock health, drives rural trade, and sustains a value chain that supports food security and national economic growth.

From women livestock farmers managing livestock in rural communities, to dairy processors and traders keeping local markets alive, to women veterinarians and animal health professionals safeguarding livestock health, their labour strengthens the foundation of a sustainable livestock sector.

At Livestock247, our close engagement with rural livestock communities continues to reveal one powerful truth. Rural women continue to show unmatched resilience, knowledge, and leadership across the livestock value chain. Their commitment remains a driving force behind stronger, healthier, and more sustainable livestock systems in Nigeria.

Today, we celebrate the women whose hands build the sector every day.

Tag women in agriculture and livestock who inspire you.
Women farmers. Women veterinarians. Dairy processors. Livestock traders. Researchers. Field professionals. Let their work be seen and celebrated.

At the core of what we do is driving innovation and building strategic collaborations aligned toward combating zoonotic diseases, strengthening economic growth, and advancing a sustainable livestock sector in Nigeria.

Our field visitation at Malam Alu Farm, Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State reflects that commitment in action. The assessment recorded steady progress, with strong animal welfare outcomes and consistent device performance across monitored cattle.

As part of our collaborative trial with Arpexas, titled “Assessment of the Bodit Farmer’s Hands Device for Precision Health Monitoring in Beef Cattle in Northern Nigeria,” routine monitoring was conducted on cattle fitted with the Bodit device, focusing on precision tracking, early health detection, and data-backed decision-making.

This is how we future-proof livestock systems.
Measured impact. Verified health. Sustainable growth.

We’re pleased to share progress from our ongoing collaborative trial project with Arpexas titled “Assessment of the Bodit Farmer’s Hands Device for Precision Health Monitoring in Beef Cattle in Northern Nigeria.”

Our team recently conducted a Bodit trial site visitation at Zaima Farms, Minna, Niger State, where routine monitoring and welfare checks were carried out across the cattle fitted with the device.

Each animal was carefully assessed for proper collar fit, any signs of tightness, hair loss around the neck, or possible irritation. Where necessary, adjustments were made to ensure comfort and optimal device performance. Animal welfare remains central to the success of any precision monitoring solution.

The rollout continues to demonstrate strong potential for improving herd health oversight, enabling timely intervention, and strengthening data driven livestock management systems. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to advancing responsible innovation within Nigeria’s beef value chain.

Together with Arpexas, we are driving practical solutions that support productivity, transparency, and long term growth in the livestock sector.

What better way can we stop the suffering of our cattle than by preventing it before it starts? Foot and Mouth Disease causes painful sores, fever, weight loss, milk drop, and heavy financial losses that no farmer should face. No serious operation should lose income to something preventable. Protection is responsibility. Protection is smart farming. Protection is profit secured.

We have made available preventive FMD vaccines for your livestock on discounted supply and professional administration. This is your move to protect your cattle, protect your investment, and secure your productivity before an outbreak ever shows up.

Send us a DM now to make your order and book an appointment. Do not wait for symptoms.
