📚 Here One Moment — Liane Moriarty
What did you think if you’ve read this- did you like it ? or a bit like me, find it a little underwhelming compared to some of her other books?

Although it seems to be on the bestseller list now for a while (in the UK anyway) its not her most highly scored novel. I found it very Moriarty in style. From the outset it has all her familiar hallmarks ie wide cast of characters, all distinctly pinpointed and an ordinary situation that slowly takes on a more unsettling edge. I do enjoy how she develops multiple viewpoints, again in this book this is one of the strengths.

What interested me most wasn’t the “mystery” but ideas about fate and whether we really want certainty about the future.

It felt more contemplative this one than dramatic and more about internal shifts than big plot moments.

For me my fav of hers is still Big Little Lies but I did enjoy this for different reasons.
