Baby skin is very delicate and therefore prone to irritation.

Microbes also are known to fester/grow where there is moist and heat. This two things (moist and heat) are found in the diaper area and when in excess they can cause rashes known as diaper rash which makes the baby uncomfortable.

Diaper rash is the inflammation of the bottom area of a baby who constantly wears diaper because the skin is in contact with moisture from the urine and heat.

It can be prevented or managed through the use of good diaper creams/ ointment, airing the bottom area on a regular and changing the diaper when soiled.
