π¨ I wasted months learning the wrong way. If you're starting tech, don't make this mistake.
When I first started learning technology, I thought I needed to learn everything.
HTML.
CSS.
JavaScript.
React.
WordPress.
UI/UX.
Web3.
Blockchain.
And the list kept growing. π
The problem?
I was consuming more information than I was actually building.
Then I realized something important:
π‘ You don't become a developer by watching tutorials.
You become a developer by building things.
Watch a tutorial.
Then close it.
Try to build something yourself.
Get stuck.
Search for a solution.
Try again.
Break something.
Fix it.
Repeat.
That's where the real learning happens.
If you're currently learning tech, here's my simple advice:
1οΈβ£ Pick ONE skill.
Don't try to master everything at once.
2οΈβ£ Learn the fundamentals.
Don't rush into advanced tools without understanding the basics.
3οΈβ£ Build projects.
Even small projects count.
4οΈβ£ Get comfortable being confused.
Confusion doesn't always mean you're failing. Sometimes it means you're learning something new.
5οΈβ£ Don't compare your Chapter 1 to someone else's Chapter 20.
Everyone starts somewhere.
I'm still learning too.
My journey has taken me from frontend development into Web3 and Blockchain, while also exploring UI/UX and product design.
And I'm realizing that the goal isn't to know everything.
The goal is to keep learning, keep building, and keep improving.
π₯ Start small. Build consistently. Let your skills compound.
