Beloved, blessed be our God and Father for another day. It's the first Thursday in February! The Lord will lead us in the right paths as we continue in the pursuits of our aspirations; we will prosper in our endeavours, we will enjoy divine benevolence and favour in all our ways; any power assigned to sabotage our efforts shall fail and be eternally disgraced; our accusers shall be silenced, they will be confounded and end in shame.
The Lord will cause us to soar high as the eagles and make us unstoppable for our haters; we will be stronger and wiser than our adversaries, we will overcome all obstacles, we will arise and shine, our horns shall be exalted and you will be divinely established, in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

*Joshua The High Priest*

*Text:* Zechariah 3:1-7
"And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by. And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by."

*Memory verse:* "But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions." - Obadiah 1:17 (KJV).

The bible text above tells us about Joshua the high priest; his spiritual standing, challenge and deliverance. Who would have thought that a high priest could experience spiritual oppression? On spiritual matters, a high priest is no small-fry. Consequently, there is need for spiritual alertness, discernment and prayerfulness by the children of God.

"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." - Philippians 2:12 (KJV).

"Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." - 1 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV).

Let us examine who a high priest is according to the word of God.

*The Coming King*

*Text:* Isaiah 40:10
"Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him."

*Memory verse:* "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain." - James 5:7 (KJV).

The bible text is a prophetic message on the coming king, for the phrase "the Lord God will come" refers to a future event, that is certain to happen as the word "Behold" connotes.

"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a c**t the foal of an ass." - Zechariah 9:9 (KJV).

The coming king's power to deliver is the hallmark of his personality.

"And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:" - Deuteronomy 26:8 (KJV).

"And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;" - Jeremiah 32:21 (KJV).

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.' - John 10:10 (KJV).

By his might, he will set the captives free, heal the brokenhearted to mention a few.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised," - Luke 4:18 (KJV).

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted
