Whether you’re wearing a lace front, full lace, or half wig, here’s how you can make sure your wig and natural hair blend perfectly:
1.)Choose the Right Wig:
•Opt for a wig that closely matches your natural hair color and texture. This makes the blending process much easier and ensures a more realistic look.
2.)Prep Your Natural Hair:
•Start by ensuring your natural hair is clean, detangled, and moisturized. If you have curly or wavy hair, use a leave-in conditioner or curl cream to define your curls.
•Braid, twist, or cornrow your hair to make it lie flat beneath the wig. If you’re using a wig that requires leaving some of your hair out, part your hair accordingly.
3.)Secure the Wig Properly:
•Place your wig cap over your braids or twists to keep your hair flat. Then, carefully position your wig on your head, ensuring it’s secure and aligned with your natural hairline.
4.)Blend the Hairline:
•For lace front wigs, carefully trim the lace to match your natural hairline. You can also use some edge control gel to lay down your edges for a smoother blend.
5.)Style to Perfection:
•Use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to blend your natural hair with the wig hair. For added realism, you can create a part in your wig that aligns with your natural part.
6.)Final Touches:
•Add a bit of hair serum or oil to your wig and natural hair for shine and a healthy appearance.
