PROFIT IS THE GOAL, BUT…
Let’s be honest with ourselves.
The primary aim of every business is to make profit.
Nobody goes into business with the intention of making losses.
I am in business to make profit too.
I want my business to grow.
I want to make good money.
I want to be successful.
I want to see Rebet Stores grow beyond where it is today.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting profit.
But here is where my conviction comes in…
Even though I am in business to make profit, I don't want the desire for profit to make me compromise my values, my integrity, the quality of what I sell, or my conscience before God.
Because for me, making profit is important, but how I make that profit is equally important.
There are people who are conscious of God even while doing business.
People who want to make money, but still want to do what is right.
People who want their businesses to succeed, but don't want success to cost them their integrity.
I am one of those people.
And I believe we can make profit, build successful businesses and still do business in a way that honours God.
