The Creation of AKWA IBOM STATE was The LORD'S DOING and it was marvelous in our sights.
Ohhhh HOME SWEET HOME (nothing like home).
We celebrated and give God all the Glory any HOW and our ANCESTORS were not left out.
It was celebration all over the WORLD as long as Ur an AMAN ISONG EYEN IBIBIO.Special thanks gose to our former Military Administrator IBRAHIM BABANGIDA and our 10 Royal father's ( our heroes)

D Management of WEEL-DONE BOUTIQUE wishes a very happy 32nd ANIVERSARY to the people of AKWA IBOM STATE.
AKWA BOM STATE was created on the 23rd of September 1987 by then Military Administrator of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.
The creation of the state brought to fruition years of prolonged struggle by the people that occupied the mainland part of the former Cross River state.
In 1983, the memorandum demanding the creation of AKWA IBOM STATE was submitted to General Buhari administration by 10 paramount rulers from the 10 Local Government Areas that makes up the Mainland part of Cross River State although didn't yield the espect result.
Our fathers waited and pray for another opportunity with came in 1986 during GENERAL BABANGIDA administration.
He set up a political bureau to devinde the future political direction of the country,The memorandum was re-submited.
Thanks to God almighty under one year 1986-1987,09,23 the dreams of our fathers was actualized as AKWA IBOME STATE the "Land of promise"was finally created after about four decades of sustained agitation.
Between 1987,09,23-2019,09,23 God has blessed us with able n capable men (Administrators n Governors) that has piloted us This far.
Let us join hands together n keep building our dear state despite our political, individual n ethnic missunderstanding AKWA IBOM STATE IS OURS LET JION HAND N BUILD OUR STATE for d SAKE of our HEROS,POSTERITY and GOD.
