A mirror shouldn’t just hang on the wall. Style it, like you’d style a shelf or a table.
In our bedroom I placed two tall arrangements of dried seed heads, one beside each mirror. They bring a little joy and match the earthy colours of the room. At night, with the lamps on, the stems throw their shadows across the wall and into the glass, creating a game of light and shadow that changes as you move.
Three things that make a mirror feel styled:
Something tall beside it, so the edge isn’t alone.
A lamp nearby, so it glows instead of going dark at night.
A pair either side of the bed, so the whole wall feels calm and balanced.
