I created a lot kusudama's based on personal theme's, but never done one for myself. So I decided, it's time to get working on my personal theme'd Kusudama.

Black/white/ivory/lilac/violet, with golden beads.

Floral art frame based on the Electra 30 unit. (David Mitchell)

My original plan was to create 2 pieces, however due to material shortage and lack of time (actually its very annoying to get this one done) I postpone finishing the other parts, but in the progress I figured I could turn this into an modulair frame instead. That's why I didn't cover the ends of the frame with wood, so I can be used to insert into another part of the frame.

I hope to work on it again, part two is basically done. But I need to cut the wooden sticks.

Multi purpose floral frame.
The idea is to use it as an wall object with tubes installed inside the hollow circle. Or use it as an table piece.

Hopefully I will be adding flowers to it soon. Photo will follow up later on.

Trying to design my own floral frames inspired by paperfolding techniques.

Electra unit floral frame (its still a work in progress frame, part 1 of 2)

I used the Electra unit to create a paperframe and I glued bamboo sticks to make it more durable.
I had contact through email with David Mitchell (Electra unit designer, and a great person) about my idea's of fusing origami with floral art.

*Interpreted it as you will*
The sunlight revealing a single white Kusudama flower on top of a red Rhododendron in a dark place.

This one is for those who fight to survive. A lot of people have lost their loved ones due to the virus outbreak. Many people are still struggling to live another day. The medics are giving all they got to make the best of it. I can only imagine how hard it would be to be living in that situation. Stay strong!

There is a lot misinformation going on through the Western communities that have been directed at Asians or Chinese people in general. It's sad that it's still a thing in our Era, as if history didn't make clear enough what tradegy unfolds from hatred among each other.
