Buying in Morocco means taking your time — looking, touching, comparing, unfolding one rug after another… and sometimes going back to the first one you saw.
There is no catalogue and no identical next piece waiting in a warehouse. Each rug has its own colours, pattern, texture and story.
And somewhere amongst those endless piles, there is always one that makes you stop.
That’s usually the one coming home with me.
