A father is the one who walks a little behind, so his children can walk a little ahead. He teaches us how to stand when we fall and how to find strength when we feel we have none left. As sons, we may not always say it, but our fathers don’t ask for much in return.
Spend time with him.
Ask how he is doing.
Take care of him.
Make him proud, not just with what you achieve, but with the person you become.
Because sometimes, the greatest gift a son can give his father is simply to hold his hand and say, “I’m here for you.”
