Crafts by Maya Universe is a social enterprise by Maya Universe Academy, a chain of free private schools where parents of students enrolled pay in time instead of money. The schools focus on providing quality private education to rural and poor communities where this is not available or inaccessible due to low income situations. The crafts comprising of handmade jewellery and basketry are made by mothers of students form the villages we work in (Tanahun and Udaypur districts).
