Lemon juice freezes so well that we always keep some on hand for a cold, refreshing drink. I personally think freezing juice is the best way to preserve it.

These large ice cubes give me two delicious drinks—much needed on a hot day like this!

We’re heading into budding—one of the busiest and most important times at the nursery. This is when we graft our trees to the rootstock. There will be many long days ahead, but we hope to bring you along for the ride as much as possible.

Even on the weekend we are busy getting orders ready for our amazing customers. The work never ends, but we love it. It was a whole family affair. Even the kids got involved! They enjoyed helping out by moving the plants.

One of my favorite jobs is breaking off the Trifoliatia suckers growing below the graft point. They break of easily when small and are very satisfying to do so. We take alot of pride in keeping our trees looking great and this is one job we do to make that happen.
