This Saturday, Te Komititanga and Takutai Square come alive with beautifully curated local makers, festive gifting, live music, free balloon twisting, kids’ Christmas card making at Queens Wharf, and a giant Christmas tree taking centre stage.

A joyful day of shopping local, soaking up the atmosphere, and celebrating the season in the heart of the city.

The magic lands in the heart of the city this Saturday 13 December as Te Komititanga transforms into Auckland’s very first Christmas market of its kind — and it’s going to be a beauty.

A gigantic Christmas tree stands as the centrepiece, surrounded by a curated line-up of local makers, festive finds, summer staples, and gifting goodness. Think handmade treasures, treats for the table, and those last sparkles for under the tree.
