Current commission for a lucky little grandchild. I’ve put this together to show the quality of the fiberglass, first photo is straight from the mould.
Here’s the steps..
1. Light sand with 3M 150, 2. Etch prime (aerosol can) suitable for fiberglass, 3. Primer filler (aerosol can), 4. Wet sand 1500, gloss black (aerosol can) 5. Wet sand 2000, 6. Gloss black again.
Paint is a local market car paint system available through a parts store chain and works out to be about $90 NZD ($60 usd).
I created this cars to help people gift that little one special to them that they could finish.. to pass down the family line, the upholstery will be completed by the grandparents :) and will oneday be an amazing memory
Cool little colab.
