Here at NYGC we love supporting other small businesses. Today my order from Ma's Goodie's arrived and it smelled so good, even before I opened the box!

I was almost out of everything so stocked up on my favourite moisturisers and treated myself to shower steamer which I'm looking forward to trying. And you get points on everything you buy so you get yourself a lovely discount on your next order! We love a discount!

That's a lot of hats and beanies! 23 to be exact. And they are currently winging their way to Brain Tumour Support NZ. Both myself and my lovely friend Robyn Martin made these (hers are the beautifully knitted ones in the middle that look like darling little cupcakes!). They send them out in care packages to newly diagnosed people. They also sell them via their website and at Fielddays in Hamilton to raise funds.

So buy a hat - keep your heart and your head warm!

Well, it's been a minute since I've been here but I have been very busy creating and making in the meantime! First up is a fundraiser for the wonderful The Animal Sanctuary. Remembrance poppies for ANZAC day, both red (for humans) and purple (for animals). Have a read below and message me with any questions or orders 🌺

The craft group I go to weekly make items to support various charities and at the moment we're supporting the Middlemore Foundation. They have a great raffle going currently, two baskets filled with lots of goodies! It's $5 a ticket. They'll email you confirmation and even a receipt so that you can claim a third back in your taxes next year - the possibility of a great prize AND money back in your taxes - win/win!!

Christmas! It'll be here any minute now! 🎄Pink and red seem to be the Christmas colours of the season this year so I have some lovely 100% cotton kitchen and shower cloths in those colours plus some with the old favourite of red, green and white.

$8 each or two for $15 plus postage within NZ only.

I'm currently WAY behind on doing my admin (stupid actual work that pays the bills getting in the way!) but today I finally got round to making donations to both The Animal Sanctuary and BirdCare Aotearoa.

It's a drop in the bucket to what they need so if you can, instead of buying stuff for Christmas (except my stuff, of course!) perhaps make a donation to your favourite charity.

Don't forget, if they're a registered charity you get a third back when you do your taxes and we all like a bit of money back! :)
