From Saturday 15th November and Sunday 16th.

We have moved the market indoors.

So you find it nice and cool on those hot days.
Which is now at the Galaxy Arcade 206 Barbados street from 10am to 3pm.

So we have room to fit 10 stallholders inside and there is also room for more in the alleyway which is awesome space.

Yes our stallholders can park in the carpark at 285 Tuam street come thru the back door of building as it will be open from 8.30am.

Yes we still have tables available. If you like one.
We have lots of awesome stalls Registered for this weekend.

So come down and see us 206 Barbados street.

Welcome to the Pirates Cove
Mahi Arohanui o Tamariki Aotearoa (MAOTA) Charitable Trust has formed a partnership with pirates cove team, Galaxy Arcade to help fundraise funds to help support primary to intermediate school kids from low income families that are really struggling with their school education and resources they need.

So come on down and support this awesome mission to help our Tamariki and their education.

We calling all pirates young and old. Come as you are - who know maybe famous jack sparrow might show.
At the Pirate's Cove Spring Market it is on this weekend

1&2 November Ahoy there partner...

It will be held every weekend. Weather permittingif canceled it will go to the next market day. From 1st November to 14th December.

Come on down From 10am to 3pm. You won't be disappointed.

285 Tuam street- close to the One stadium. Or you can enter from Galaxy Arcade bar and restaurant. 206 Barbados street. As the market is held in Galaxy carpark.

Fancy dress competition will be held on our last Sunday 14 December and ALSO you can enter the draw to win our big BIG TREASURE CHEST drawn on 14th December this will make a the best Christmas treasure for someone.

All you have to do is attend any of our market between 1st of November to 14 December. Purchase something from any of our stallholders and get our flyer and put it in our barrel.

Some fantastic prizes will be added from some of our stalls and Donations gifts cards, toys from the community and businesses.

Come a find your treasure

Come on down to the pirates Cove where you will find some amazing treasure beautiful upcycled and redesign jewellery- The Maota Charitable Trust stall -Jewellery, some very talented Arts and crafts makers , some beautiful and tasy food even a hangi and other amazing delicious food stalls, that your mouth will thank you for.

We have some sounds from our market DJ and hope to have some guest performing some awesome tunes. This market support talented young performers to show their talent.

So chill out and soak up the vibes or why not try some of the fun games for the kids and the kid at heart. At the galaxy Arcade. There is all sorts of games.

Calling all stallholders.
We have 8 stalls available at our new market at pirates cove spring market Saturday 1st November and 12 sites available on the Sunday.

Market opens at 10am so stallholders can come from 8.30 -9am. To 3pm as long as everyone leaves from 7pm.

We will have DJ banging out some awesome sounds.

We have some beautiful food to fill your hungry tummy, hot and cold drinks to quech your thirst.

Get your order in for some hungi kai you want to get some of this i know i can't wait.

This is getting exciting and we are pushing the boat out in advertising on all types of social media platforms, newspapers and Facebook groups.

If your not seeing it coming across your page then share this page we want everyone to know as we are wanting to support our community and Tamariki in their school education.

We are excited to introduce Pirates Cove Spring Market – a vibrant six-week market held in the heart of Christchurch.
285 Tuam street, central city just a hop skip jump from the new ONE stadium.
Market will be every Saturday and Sunday from 1st November & 2nd November through to December 12th, 10am – 3pm.

The market will be filled with music, games, food, and of course, treasure! With up to 20 stalls each day, it’s the perfect opportunity for community groups, youth organisations, and local creatives to share their talents, showcase their products, and connect with the wider community.

We are currently seeking:

Stallholders – Arts, crafts, plants, baking, second-hand goods, tasty treats, and unique creations.

Performers & Singers – A chance to shine on stage and entertain our visitors.

This event is more than just a market. Pirates Cove is a fundraiser for the MAOTA Charitable Trust, supporting young people in education by helping to reduce barriers to participation. The market also promotes the work of the Eco Pirates – Exploring, Promoting, and Protecting our Environment.

We warmly invite your group to get involved – whether by booking a stall, performing on stage, or spreading the word. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people and community groups to gain exposure, raise funds, and celebrate creativity.

It's been awhile since we last posted, and we sure you love to hear from us.

we are working hard to find a better location for raki market, but in the meantime, we asking you to be patience with us. As finding the perfect venue that can provide the space, we want so that we can do the things that makes raki market so special and different from your usual community market.

What we love from you though is some feedback on what we can do to make the experience so much better for you , our stallholders, and the public.

We have a big mission to fill, to help support Maota Charitable Trust it's fundraising efforts, our resources are limited in human and also in financial side as we do everything we can to get the support we need.

So we are still wanting your help, you can help us and we can help you. We want to promote your business or sidehussle for exchange in promoting MAOTA in what we doing.

At present we will be attending a couple of fundraising events (MAOTA) will be at the chch Airport bunnings on the friday the 15th of November doing a 🌭sausage sizzle from 8.30 to 4.30pm.

Then on the 7th of December we will be at the 🎄🎁🎠Kaiapoi Christmas carnival with maota jewellery and then we will be back at chch Airport bunnings on 26thDecember (boxing day).

Then we will be at the spencerville park new years day1st January 2025.🎉🪅

If you can please📢 promote where
MAOTA will be over the next 8 weeks or so that would really help us. In return we will promote📢 heavily your business for the next 8 weeks, all you need to give us is a📷 photo of your business, name of your business, where you be over the next 8 weeks put it in the comments so we know that your accepting our mission. We get intouch with you.

Everyone that does our mission will also go in the drawer for our Christmas bonus it's surprise gift from us. Believe me you want to enter it. We will give you sneak peak closer to Christmas.

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold this morning and who offered their time to help at Raki market opening at Silhouette Studios , sadly many things were against including the weather.

We will be evaluating today and what is needed for future markets, as we need alot more people, stallholders, volunteers and more marketing needed as it's is a learning curve to be successful in this business. We will be back I do know that but we will be finding new home to have raki market so watch this space.

Thanks to our wonderful stallholders, st John's, nz police, and our coffee trailer, and BBQ team we truly appreciate you and your support for what we trying to achieve. I am just so sorry we didn't get the turn out for you.

Big shout out to Sonya Marie Gallagher, Viv, Emily kevan, ihi thank you all so very much for your amazing generous time you gave, you worked so tirelessly to try make it as successful as we could under this strain of so many thing that was happening. Never mind team we live and learn and try again.
