This is my survival story, and I’d like to finally share it with the world. I went through the darkness to get to where I am today. x
For a long time, it felt like the shadows would win.
But out of my deepest pain and hardest fights came a quiet strength, and eventually, the courage to build ManaakiWāhine.
This space didn't just start as a creative studio; it started as my sanctuary. It was my lifeline and my way to keep moving forward.
Finding my light meant pouring my soul into creating.
Through the late nights testing coconut wax blends, designing custom tumblers, and running the presses, I found a way to heal and transform my struggles into something beautiful.
Navigating that heavy darkness while missing out on being a mum to my five kids took every ounce of resilience I had—but they were my reason to keep fighting.
Looking back now, I can see that every obstacle was a stepping stone to this exact moment.
This video is the real me, stripped back and honest.
It’s a look at the mountains I’ve climbed, the healing I’ve done, and the heart behind everything I do now.
To my community and everyone who has held space for me, supported my craft, and cheered me on—thank you.
Big uppps to my gurl Tahliyah-Rose 🥰
