Wilderness Voice is a not-for-profit organisation devoted to assisting Christadelphians.

Its purpose is to be a voice in the wilderness calling any that would hear to come aside from the hustle and bustle of life to prepare a highway for our God. Glen Davies explores the problems we have with speaking the truth, half-truths, white lies, and out-and-out lying. Truth is obviously an important Bible principle, but even the Bible has examples where people deceived others for a good cause. Glen provides suggestions why based on Bible principles.

We know that the Bible clearly forbids lies and deception. Yet, there are shades of grey and people in Bible times deceived others. What is the answer to this?

The second article in the series: "An appeal in troubled times", by David Bailey. This article shows that in a world of strongly expressed opinions, even within the ecclesia, we can't trust our own views. We can trust God's Word, but even there we can't trust ourselves that we are looking through the lens of our own biases.

Bias blinds, even when reading God's Word. We see everything through our own lens, and confirmation bias accentuates this. How do we overcome this?
