I would like to thank everyone that requested my free mini creations. I've been totally blown away by the amount of people who love what I make. So again, thank you! 🥰

Today has been spent chatting, taking notes, getting to know you. I've made a start at packing up all the requests - and making a few more mats/blankets, due to the demand {not a hardship at all!}.

All packages should be on their happy way to their recipients soon. And then I'll start planning for the next lot! Probably at the end of May, and I'll have a few different items available. You all inspire me, to keep creating, and to keep giving. 💚🧡

I've made a decision. All of my hand-sewn/crochet mini items are now FREE!

My reason? I love to create, and I have always loved to do Random Acts of Kindness. I've been inspired by a crochet artist that I admire, who is constantly creating the most gorgeous items, and gives everything away. I do give my crochet hats/scarves etc to various charities, but I want to do more.

So, who wants some of my mini creations? Just tell me a colour you like, pay for postage, and I'll send you at least 10 items. 😃 Leave a comment on this post, and I'll PM you.

It's Nola's birthday today. She would have been 92.

In her honour, I've been making hand-sewn cushions - I think she would have liked these. And claimed a few of them ... and put in a request for more. LOL

The crochet blanket is made by me as well.

It's all my friends fault! A suggestion, a challenge - next thing you know, I'm crocheting free-form "scrumbles".

Made from fine-ish acrylic yarn, I'm going to use some for my art gallery, I think they'll look great with abstract art. As mats, and smaller ones hung on the wall.

What do you think? I know this art form isn't for everyone, in fact, I never thought I'd ever make any. But my mother {the inspiration behind Nola's Minis} used to do lovely free-form knitting & crochet. I think she'd be very happy to see these. :)

Definitely very much , no two will ever be alike.

It's been a long while since Nola's Minis has had an update, my apologies. We lost my dad {Nola's husband} a year ago, and life 'shifted' slightly. But, I'm back! And enthused! 😄😁

In the New Yesr I'll have new items made, and for sale. Here's a little taste of what's to come - crochet & OOAK* bags. Also ... small & large crochet Mandalas, to put on the wall/table/floor. Photos soon. :)
