Spring has officially arrived in NZ.
The weather, on the other hand, seems to have missed the memo. 😂

So while we're waiting for the sunshine to get its act together, we're bringing a little spring energy to the kitchen with a Strawberry Basil Vodka Smash — fresh strawberries, basil, lime and a bit of fizz.

That basil you've been keeping alive through sheer stubbornness? This is its moment.

It's giving jandals vibes while most of NZ is still putting on socks.

New neighbourhood. New neighbours. Free lunch. WIN!

Our new neighbours Cranefield Automotive & Tyre Silverdale absolutely spoiled the Grow & Brew crew with a delicious lunch from Northern Union Gastro Pub to welcome us to the neighbourhood.

We haven’t even finished unpacking and we’re already being fed. 😊

Thanks heaps, legends - neighbourly relations are off to a cracking start!

Surprise, Silverdale — we’re OPEN!
We’re not quite finished… but apparently “finished” is optional. 😂

We’re still unpacking, rearranging and figuring out where the hell everything lives now, but we’re so bloody excited to finally show you the new space!

There are still boxes to unpack, shelves to shuffle and probably a few things that will mysteriously change location five times before we’re done. 😂

But the doors are open, the shelves are (mostly) stocked and the new Grow & Brew Silverdale is officially ready for you!
So come have a nosey, say kia ora and check out the new digs.

And if you happen to buy a few things while you’re here… well, that’s just less stuff for us to move. 😉

📦 WE'RE CLOSED! Apparently moving an entire shop involves a lot of boxes. 😅

Our Silverdale store is having a little three-day timeout while we pack up and make the move from 14A Flexman Place to our new home at 39B Wainui Road.

📦 Silverdale, we have a small favour to ask…. 😏

This is it. It’s the LAST WEEKEND at
14A Flexman Place before we pack up the shop and shift everything to our new digs.

And we've done the maths.
The more you buy this weekend…
the less we have to move.
Honestly, it’s basically community service. 😂

So if you've been thinking about grabbing that nutrient, brewing kit, hop stash, bit of gear or other absolutely essential thing you've had your eye on…
NOW WOULD BE A VERY GOOD TIME. 👀

Cars? ✔️ Cold brews? ✔️ Good crowd? ✔️ Sounds like our kind of day.

A couple of weeks ago, on Father’s Day, we headed along to Real Rides’ 20-year celebration — celebrating 20 years of Kayton Coughey building some seriously mean street machines. 55 bloody beautiful muscle cars. 300+ people. And lot of very cool vibes packed into one place. 🏁

We brought along our 2-tap Kegerator, pouring Black Rock Brewing Mexican Ce***za and Muntons Homebrew Continental L***r, and teamed up with Northern Union Gastro Pub to keep the good times flowing.

It was bloody good to be part of such a cool local celebration — plenty of cars, plenty of banter and plenty of people getting amongst it.

Huge congratulations to Kayton and the Real Rides ltd crew on 20 years! What a milestone.

Thanks for having Grow & Brew along. And apologies for only telling you about it now… apparently moving an entire shop is mildly distracting. 😂

Welcome to the “TRUST THE PROCESS” phase. 😂

The new Silverdale store is starting to look a little less like a warehouse and a little more like Grow & Brew.

We’ve been throwing some shade around (literally — those walls aren't going to paint themselves black), moving shelves, unpacking boxes and generally making a respectable amount of mess.

There’s a lot of:
“Yeah, that’ll look mint when it’s finished.”

…and possibly a little less of:
“Where the hell did we put that?” 😂

The shelves are still finding their homes, the boxes are still multiplying and there’s plenty more to do — but slowly, 39B Wainui Road is starting to feel like Grow & Brew. 🌱🍻

Stay tuned. We’re making it pretty. 😎
