Tash is determined to create a space that fosters the craft community, brings people and inspiration together and celebrates the amazing talents of our local (and international) yarn folk. We always have sock yarn on the shop shelves, both commercially and hand-dyed.

Tash is now dyeing High Twist Merino again, perfect for socks!

Our re-loved yarn means there's an ever-changing selection of sock yarn, too. Re-loved yarns are limited to what is on the shelf - once it's gone, it's gone!

Re-loved is our way of de-stashing on your behalf. Think of it as craft supplies being released back into the wild to find a new, loving home. We've have a few instances where people have found exactly the shade and years-old dye lot they've needed to finish a project - it's always a wonderful moment when that happens!

Tash is away so we're closed today, Sunday 11 October - which means no Q***r Craft Club this month, sorry friends 🌈

recently celebrated 50,000 Musselburgh hat projects on Ravelry - what an achievement!

Tash made our shop sample using Knitsch Merino in Quarter Acre Dream. It's a fantastic pattern for showing off hand-dyed yarn, and we have an increasing selection of Knitsch Merino on the shelves.

If you're heading along to the Taranaki Pop-Up next Sunday or on 26 October you can expect lots of Knitsch Merino along with High Twist Sock, Booocle and fibre.

Are there any colours you'd like to see? Now is the time to ask!

The great books are rolling off 's presses, with three new releases on the way and recent releases selling out almost immediately.

All these publications are up for pre-order - we expect them to arrive between 22 and 5 November depending on shipping and publishing times.

We especially can't wait to get our hands on Knitted Kalevala III for that fish sweater 🐟 and 52 Weeks of One Skein Knits so we can use up some single skeins in the stash.

How much do we love the Flax pattern from !

This isn't all the versions Tash has knit - i'm about ot hunt out more and these are going up in the window for you to have a look at. We adore this pattern because it is so adaptable, comes in a huge range of sizes and yarn weight options, and it's FREE.

In Term 4 we're running a Start a Sweater class AND Jumper Club so you can join us to knit your own version. It's a fantastic pattern to learn on and we'll hold your hand the whole way. Book online or in-store 🫶

October already!

We have a packed month coming up, featuring our Socktober Sockalong, plenty of time to meet up and hang out, and classes.

Tash has been busy dyeing yarn and fibre for the Taranaki pop-up and , but you can catch it on the shop shelves in the meantime.
