A few weeks ago at the YES regional finals we were fortunate to have a great pitch & come away with the regional award of โ€˜Connect & Collaborateโ€™ , presented by Fiona Wilson of Nelson Regional Development Agency.

This evening was a highlight of the year & we cannot wait to continue to make a positive impact within our community & share what exciting projects we are working on behind the scenes.

A huge thank-you goes out to all of our amazing businesses & mentors we have worked alongside this year as well as our teachers Mr Ward & Mr Claridge for their support with Outta The Box this year.

This is a huge achievement for us both and we are very excited to be able to pitch to some amazing judges. ๐ŸŽ‰

Kia Ora! Yesterday we met with Jade (acting principal) of Hampden Street School.

Ex-Student, Catherine from Outta The Box, gave more lunchboxes to local school children in need.

Earlier this month, Catherine was fortunate to be selected for the Entrepreneurs in Action weekend in Wellington with .

Here, within 72 hours she developed two business plans, strategies & pitches with Auckland Business Chamber on two different statements.

This was a great weekend for Catherine to learn and develop entrepreneurial skills to bring back for the future of Outta The Box.

Kia Ora everyone,
We hope everyone is staying safe & keeping well in lockdown right now.

Outta The Box is pleased to say we came 2nd nationally in challenge three (promotion) within the Lions Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme. This is a huge achievement for both of us, and we are really excited to be able to share this with you.

As well as this, on Monday (before level four) we met with Rebecca Mason from The Kฤmahi Trust talking about the future of Outta The Box (see photo above).

In regard to COVID-19, we will be letting you all know our response and actions being taken in regards to level four in the coming days via our Instagram & Facebook stories.
