When I find myself short on time, I have to be selective about what I choose to create, and I usually find myself making something that brings me joy 🤗

When Helen from EzyBabe asked if I'd like to make something for her annual Dementia/Alzheimers society/Hospice fundraising auction, my answer was definitely a YES!

She proved me with some fabric she'd had designed with some of the most adorable elephants you ever did see 🤗 and this is what I came up with 🥰

I have re-emergeed from the rock I have been hiding under 😅

But for real tho, money is not something anyone has much spare of these days. It's so hard to see so many small businesses in my circles closing down everywhere I look.
I've always hated being a pushy salesman, and after low Christmas sales, I decided to just take a break, and spend some time focusing on myself and my health. I rode my bike a bit more, took my dog and two kids out on more bush walks, and enjoyed not being inside behind a sewing machine quite so much.

Of course I still had to make myself some cute exercising outfits, so I didn't abandon the sewing room completely 😂 But I've had lots of fun so far this year, and even managed to lose some weight along the road!

I'm not planning on closing down, but I do have a lot of stock hanging around that I'd love to see released into the wild to be enjoyed and taken places!

I'd be ever so grateful if you could help me rehome some creations, and help me make some space for new creative ideas to come to life!

My sewing mojo ran away for a while, but I lured it back with the promise of making something for myself with these gorgeous luna moths that have wanting to be made into something ever since they arrived months ago 😅

I also have an overwhelming list of patterns that I have accumulated but not tried yet, so I felt bonus accomplishments with this creation!

She was thicc in places, but this handbag came out better than my wildest dreams 💙 and that matching hardware is just stunning 😍😍😍

I think this pattern might just have to be added into regular rotation 🤔
