Here is a little run down on why kakahu are priced this way, payment plans, time frame, customising your taonga and how they are made...

Prices based on sizes, materials and my time to hand weave these taonga.
Payment plans available weekly or fortnightly at whatever you can afford just PM me to sort a payment plan that suits your budget. I'm pretty flexible.
You must pay a $100 deposit before I start your taonga. Once I do start $50 of the deposit will be non refundable (I will only give you 24 hours from when the deposit is made to change your mind) so please only order if you're serious about purchasing a taonga.
I need at least 3 weeks to finish these kids kākahu so please be patient I will keep you updated.
All kakahu are custom to how you want it, so if you have a certain colour in mind give me a message and i will see what we can come up with, if you want a name on the taniko to make it that extra special then let me know because I can do that at no extra cost.
Please remember these kakahu are taonga and they are all hand made using the whatu method and I do not use sewing machines to make these. Each whenu is weaved together, each feather is plucked and soaped in bunches of 3 then weaved in to the kākahu.
