Jess & Gina’s Romantic Adventure Weekend 💕📚✈️

We had the best girls’ weekend escaping to Christchurch for … and by adventure we obviously mean books, authors, cocktails, and a slightly concerning amount of luggage weight on the return flight.

Friday night kicked things off with the VIP Cocktail Evening, yummy food and some fab author panels🍸 before we spent all of Saturday soaking up every moment at the book signing event.

It was so great seeing so many familiar Booksta faces in the crowd! And if you’re familiar with the amazing … you might have been like Jess & secretly fan girling the moment that familiar voice popped up somewhere in the room 👀✨

While Jess collected NSFW art and played donkey carrying Gina’s ever growing stack of books around, Gina was living her best life fan girling over one of her favourite authors flapping her arms in excitement getting books signed from and blushing at the masked men.

One of the highlights was getting to spend some time with the amazing .rourke and her hubby. If MM romance is your thing, you definitely need to check her out — or head over to our website and grab one of our Rachel O’Rourke MM book boxes!

We met so many lovely people, ate great food, and even managed to finish our buddy read of Leather & Lark along the way.
