Big Saturday for us at TCG Culture this week. We have back-to-back Win-A-boxes on for Riftbound! The first is our Skirmish event kicking off at 11am

The second is our Road to 10k Showdown straight after!

The 10k is slated to kick off at 3:30pm but may be delayed to no later than 5:30pm if the Skirmish hasn't wrapped up by then!

$25 entry for each event.

The last few days have been crazy! My inbox and DMs are completely flooded with questions about the Pokémon 30th Anniversary pre-orders.

I only got our store's order submitted last night. At this stage, I have zero visibility on our final allocation numbers from distribution.

Let's be real: we're a very small store. We aren't likely to get allocated huge amounts. But here's what I can promise you:

📍 Locals get priority. If you've sat at our tables for events, or you shop with us regularly, you're our priority.
🔒 Strict limits (exact numbers TBD based on final allocation) will be enforced, no workarounds, no exceptions. We want as many people as possible to get a fair shot at product.

So please, hold off on the DMs for now. I'll let you know when I know more. We love this hobby just as much as you do, and we're doing everything we can to share it with as many people as possible, even if our little store can only do so much.

What do you do with booster tins when you’ve already ripped the packs inside? My daughter came up with the idea of using them as a mini purse with some hand sanitizer, keys and lip balm… you could also store gum, money, tissues or breath mints. Great idea I reckon!

What an incredible year 2025 has been! We’ve had an absolute blast hosting events across all our games, saying goodbye to some, welcoming new ones, and sharing the table with such an amazing community along the way. Thank you to everyone who played, supported, bought, sold, and traded in-store and online, and helped make 2025 a year to remember!

We hope you all enjoy a well-earned break and a great holiday season with friends, family, and plenty of rest, food and games. As we head into 2026, we’re feeling excited, motivated, and ready for what’s next.

We’ve got some cool things happening in 2026 and can’t wait to share them with you very soon 👀✨

Shoutout to my family for helping me out at the Auckland Card Market last weekend especially my kids. It was awesome to see them muck in, help our customers with their queries, learn how to use our point of sale systems, and do slick maths calculations on the fly!

We're CLOSED today!

It's our anniversary! 14 years ago today I married my best friend and the love of my life, so today we're taking the day off to spend time with each other and our kids.

It's important to take time off for people and things that matter to you, and nothing matters more to me than my family ❤️
