The Six Sisters in Napier are a famous row of six identical, two-story Victorian timber villas located along Marine Parade.
Built in the late 19th century and designed by architect Robert Lamb, reportedly for a prominent businessman/doctor to house his six daughters.
They are rare survivors of the devastating 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake and subsequent fires, often compared to San Francisco’s "Painted Ladies".
