Hi everyone,

I’ve decided that Creative Junket’s last trading day will be 30 November.

With Christmas approaching, it feels like the right time to finish up and make room to enjoy summer with my family and some crafting of my own.

Until then, the website remains open for the final sell-down. If there’s something you’ve had your eye on, this is your chance to pick it up before we close. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Thank you for your orders, lovely messages and enthusiasm along the way. I’ve loved choosing beautiful supplies and sharing creative ideas with you, and I’m grateful you’ve been part of Creative Junket.

A little bit of good news for scrapbookers — Notions is reopening.

It’s been a long few months, so this is really welcome news for the wider scrapbooking world. Hopefully it means we’ll start seeing a much better flow of products and collections coming through again.

Anyone else miss some of the old scrapbooking brands? 💛 I miss Crate Paper and Pebbles—the collections, the little details, and the excitement of finding a range you absolutely loved.

A little update from Creative Junket 💛

After giving Creative Junket a genuine chance as my full-time gig, I’ve decided it’s time to close the shop. I’m glad I gave it a proper go, because otherwise I would always have wondered—but I now know it isn’t the life or business model I want for my future.

Creative Junket won’t be closing immediately. I’ll be steadily selling down the remaining stock, and nothing will be replaced once it sells out.

The Birthday Sale is continuing, with thousands of crafty goodies currently reduced by 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. Some are the last available at Creative Junket, and others come from manufacturers that are no longer in business.

A little non-crafty share from me today! 🎭

My kiddo is performing in Arts a Go Go’s November show at the Lower Hutt Little Theatre, so I’m sneaking in a little proud-mum promotion. ❤️

They’re putting on two shows — Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Colour & Shine! — on 21–22 November.

If you’re local and fancy a fun trip to the theatre, come along and support these awesome young performers. I know just how much work goes into getting a show like this onto the stage!

A little bit of Christmas crafting from my desk 🎄❤️

I’ve been feeling a bit creative deficient lately 😂 — wanting to make something, but then sitting down and having absolutely no idea what to do. So I pulled out the Uniquely Creative Festive Little Things Ideas Booklet and decided to follow one of the projects to get the creative ideas flowing again.
And it worked! I made five cards following along, making little changes on some.

I then had my mojo back so I made this cute stepped Christmas card and had so much fun putting all those little layers together.

Sometimes it’s quite nice not having to come up with the idea yourself and just enjoying the making part.
