The chickens are enjoying the lack of rain at Happy Hens Waihi and are sunbathing, snoozing and living their best life. All they have is freedom.

Call in and grab some fresh eggs and a frozen gourmet meal and some dessert. It’s all about making life easier so you can focus on things like relaxing!

Just in at Happy Hens Waihi. We have a new shipment of cheeses which we are able to sell at a discount as they are offcuts. So if you love cheese but it strains the budget, maybe this is for you. We have feta, gouda, havarti, mozzarella and kikorangi blue.

We have fresh stocks of 16 hour braised beef cheeks in our frozen meal section. There are lots of different gorgeous meals to choose from. Dinner is easy and no stress on those days when you need things to be easy.

Our tamarillo special is still going while stocks last, just $12 a kilo bag.

Brand new products from Mingle are here plus a restock of your favourites. The new range includes all natural sweet toppers. These look seriously yum. Plus a couple of new dressings made with avocado oil.

The eggs are fresh and fabulous, the animals are happy despite the frosts and we have great vibes happening. Bring the kids to feed the chickens, grab an icecream and sit in the sun. We would love to see you.

New at Happy Hens Waihi. Zero sugar mayos and sauces. Perfect for those that can’t eat much sugar but still like some sauce action!

Pretty reasonably priced and such a great option if you are trying to be more health conscious. If you can’t get here you can shop from our website.

It’s a stunning day here at Happy Hens Waihi.

Our tamarillo special is still going while stocks last at $12 a bag. Don’t be shy, these are just the best fruit, big and juicy.

Also our new range of Liberty Growers greens are proving really popular. Cos, super mix, Thai and normal basil, mesculun all in stock.

If you love cheese but the price makes your eyes water maybe our off cuts are the answer. Beautiful hunks of Parmesan, Gouda, feta and more. At a fraction of the price. Freeze it, use it, go nuts!

Fresh stocks of sourdough loaves and the gold Aroha Kai sauerkraut will be coming this afternoon for the fans.

Our birds are feeling great, the eggs are fresh and the turkeys continue to squabble over Tina’s attention. There’s lots to see, bring the kids and relax on our picnic tables with an icecream and feed the chickens. We would love to see you.

Ok we are officially excited with this one.

We are an official stockist of beautiful fresh produce in our chiller at Happy Hens Waihi. This is the most wonderful range all grown locally at Katikati. You will have seen them at the markets. Super super fresh and really well priced. If salads and greens smoke your tyres pop in and see us and grab something from the range.

Beautiful herbs, gorgeous fresh mesculun or crunchy cos leaves. You name it, it’s here and ready to go.

The sun is shining at Happy Hens Waihi and the animals are snoozing. Just an update from us on the current situation.

We would love to see you. The eggs have never been more fresh and tasty, the farm shop is full of tasty goodness and there’s something for everyone.

Happy Matariki from Happy Hens Waihi. Yes we are OPEN today and all weekend.

Big news! We are restocked with seafood chowder for the diehard fans. Plus there’s an ultimate fish pie and smoked salmon risotto in the range.

We’ve had a new shipment of Duck Island icecream and have some gorgeous pudds in our freezer to go with them. Roast some tamarillos and you have some seriously tasty flavours going on. Apparently tams are in their last couple of weeks so grab some while you can.

Into the Wild pet foods have restocked us and given us some new products to try. There’s a crumble to sprinkle onto your dog’s food to boost their health and nutrition and new tasty treats too.

The pigs are snoozing and there’s lots of animals to see. Bring the kids to feed the chickens, grab an icecream and sit in the sun. We would love to see you.
