I havent been posting as much/regularly lately, as we enjoy our busy life of 5 but I am still here and orders are still going out as usual.

I thought a reintroduction was needed for anyone new here 🤍 I am Nat, founder of Wrapped with Love. I live in the beautiful Lake Hāwea, Wanaka, with my partner and three young kids. As well as being a Mum, I am also a qualified Early Childhood teacher. I am very passionate about children having fun and learning through play!

With my knowledge on children learning through play in the early years, I create special gift boxes that are not just fun but also support child development.

The idea behind Wrapped with Love was to make gifting for children easier and more purposeful! All gift boxes are categorised into age groups to help you gift something age appropriate.

Our gift boxes are made up of mostly locally sourced and/or nz made products, with a small selection of imported products. When creating each gift box, I love to support other small kiwi businesses.

I was asked this at a market over Christmas time and my answer was... Not easily!
Above is my trusty sample canvas and as you can see she is looking a bit rough due to lots of play and lots of wind!

While I have yet to see one rip, they do scratch. This doesn't affect its performance but just something to be mindful of, especially if your child (like my Miss 2) hasn't quite learnt the art of gentle. If you are wanting to keep your canvas in new condition and you have a younger child that loves to push down on their paint brush with all force, I would suggest using sponges and spray bottles for now. The metal on brushes can scratch the canvas.

For me, as these lines dont affect its performance, I am not too worried... to me they show age, development, memories and progression. 🌟
