A little behind-the-scenes look at our Eczema Relief Lotion being made.

We add organic colloidal oatmeal during the cool-down phase to help keep the formula gentle and skin-focused. This lotion was created for dry, irritated, eczema-prone skin that needs extra comfort and moisture.

Made in small batches in New Zealand, with Kawakawa and Kūmarahou and no unnecessary extras.

It’s finally here.

Our Kawakawa Tallow Shampoo + Conditioner are now available — fragrance-free and made with carefully chosen ingredients for dry, itchy and sensitive scalps, and gentle enough for the whole family.

Kawakawa, kūmarahou, tallow, jojoba oil and panthenol come together to gently cleanse, nourish and leave hair feeling soft and cared for.

This has been such a labour of love, from gathering our kawakawa to formulating, making, bottling and labelling every batch.

A little behind the scenes of what goes into the formulations we make.

Today I had my two little helpers with me, helping me pick kawakawa leaves.

And this is only the beginning.

Tonight, we’ll be cleaning and washing every single leaf by hand, one by one, before it moves into the next stage of the formulation process.

There’s so much more behind a bottle than what you see on the shelf.

From picking the plants, to preparing them, to formulating each product, every step matters.

This is the hands-on, messy, beautiful part of creating Tiny Leaf.
