Creepy spiked worm thing in sand. It evaded capture many times, but I got enough pictures to hopefully identify it later. Has anyone send this before? Reminds me of a bobbit worm but smaller.

It's been many months since I brought home tripod, my tiny 3 legged octopus baby. All legs are grown back, much bigger body and she's a cuddle bug. I get a weird sticky octopus hug every time I'm in the tank. It's a miracle I've never been bit. Must be the daily offerings of beach surprises.

Went to Coronado Beach at low tide for sponges. Found some beautiful. The red spotted sponges from Gorgona beach have grown in the tank, so I'm hopeful these blue and purple will survive too. Wish them luck.

This flounder is surprisingly personable. Watches us and hangs out in the front of the tank. I'll never be able to eat this fish again.
