Last week we had a couple of people enquire about our services two of which asked specifically about lawyers. If you are not aware there are lawyers/lawfirms in Kokopo and Kavieng which you can engage. We also have a list of lawfirms in Port Moresby that do work for our clients and we can provide you their profiles which have their rates etc for free. If you opt for an out of town lawyer you are required to put an upfront deposit, pay for accomodation, flights, hire car rental and allowance for the lawyer if you require them to travel to you. The Public Solicitor also has offices in Kokopo and Kavieng.

•Year in Review

2025 will be our 5th year under the rebranded consulting business name and our second year operating our management business. My brother initially planned for a seperation of the businesses in 2020 but since we only had our own work and one client it was not necessary until this year.

Our clientele has grown this year and we are grateful. I may have hindered our growth more than assisted our growth strategy when we were thrown our first curveball in May. Like all small businesses we have been affected by the economic crisis. In June Miarosa Management Services opened its office in Namatanai. Last year marked our entry into Lihir and this year into Kokopo and Kavieng. We now serve clients in Port Moresby, Kokopo, Lihir, Namatanai, Kavieng and overseas.

The lawyers/law firms that service our clients are unbelieveable. They have delivered and we are confident they will continue to deliver the results our clients want. The list has grown this year with the addition of two more lawfirms. We are as always grateful for the 11th hour engagements.

In 2025 we hope to deliver the same service but more efficiently.

November. Stressed but grateful for life, family, staff, clients that keep us on our toes all day and early evening, lawyers that deal with us at the 11th hour, clients that tolerate me rescheduling coz we can't make it to where they are, that one new client we added coz I just thought we needed one more Pro Bono client and for so much more.☕️
