Praise the Lord!!
I would like to greet each and every one who have been following and reading my book,since 2017.I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who was and is and is to come.Amen.
We have been talking in our previous sessions about woman in the bible, or in the scriptures, ( Revelation 19:7-8, Revelation 17:1-6, ) because woman is a symbol or type of the church.
Remember, that God is a jealous God and and in the old testament, the nation of Israel was as a wife and God was her husband, ( Isaiah 54:5, Jeremiah 31:32 ) and so God has never wanted his people or his wife to go after other nations and worship their gods. When the nation of Israel go after other nations and worship their gods, then God sees them spiritually as they have committed adultery.
Since the nation of Israel kept committing adultery with her lovers,God sees her not fitting to be her wife ( Hosea 2:2,7 ) she has committed adultery and whoredom with her lovers,( worshipping strange Gods ) and doing things which God commanded them not to do.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 God has spoken through his prophet to make a new covenant with the nation of Israel, though God was an husband to the nation of Israel. Israel never kept the covenant that God had made with them, as a husband and wife who make their vows during their wedding.
God kept his promise but Israel was always unfaithful, time after time the nation of Israel kept breaking God's covenant.
For this very reason, Jesus came in to the world, not only to save the world from sin, but to find a new wife, just like king Ahasuerus in the book of Esther, when the queen, (his wife Vashti), refused to come in to present herself, her beauty, because she was fair to look on.
God wanted to use the nation of Israel to shew his power and glory, to the world, that his name might be declared throughout all the earth.All mankind might come to know that there is only one God and that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
God wanted to present to the world his glory and power through the nation of Israel.
Just as the qeen, the qeen Vashti, the king wanted to shew to the guest her wife's beauty, but she disobeyed the king's command, therefore, king Ahasuerus, commanded that a search should be made throughout his kingdom so that a virgin, (not a harlot) should be sought for the king.
The like figure, Jesus came in to this world to search for a virgin, a wife. If the old testament, was perfect, then there should not have been another, sought out, but the old testament was imperfect.
During the time of Jesus, those who seemed to be the masters and teachers of the law were worshipping God with their lips, but their heart was far away from God.
The old testament was a type and shadow of the new testament and the true, and real one to come.
When Jesus came on the scene, he said from his own lips,
(Mathew 16:18,19) saying; And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
(Notice) JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF SAID HE WILL BUILD ONLY ONE CHURCH ( one, singular, church and not churches).
