Thank God for another year younger in Prime Life! The past year has been The Most Blessed Year of My Life so far.. It has been challenging too, but only to effect growth I would have never reached. I learnt that everyone has a purpose for being here and you will find yours where your natural gifts/talents meet your passion - and all of your life's experiences would have been preparing you for it. Celebrate the good times and don't worry too much about the bad ones ... that too will pass.., only learn the lessons they bring. Do good no matter the cost b'cz everything we do is a seed sown and it will come back finding you one fine day. We live once.., short, fragile life. Always, always choose to be happy. 💫 Cheers! Ah the World of Entrepreneurship! 🙌 It's 4am and I'm up hibernating on business ideas.

6-months ago shortly after graduating with a double masters degree and feeling psyched for the life ahead, I became unusually ill and was bedridden for 3 - 4 months. I could not live life as normal so I had to stop working my day job. My husband and I burned the boats and took a leap to move to Australia to pursue further studies. Oh it’s especially hard being sick in a foreign land, with children to support and their father now a full-time student. The only thing I could possibly do was to venture into doing SME in my home country, even in my sick bed! In business they say when you literally have nothing to fall back on, you WILL make it work - that is becoming true for me. I had never utilised as much knowledge in such a short period of time as I did over the past 6-months combining what I learned in business school with insights gained from life’s experiences.

When I was studying the dual MPM/MBA program, I had 3 pathways: whether I was going to progress my career in Project Management, or be in the C-suite of a corporate firm or become an entrepreneur. At that crossroad, I felt a sense of vanity and needed direction. For a whole year I wrestled with God and pleaded for Him to show me the purpose of my life and why He had called me to leave my comfort zone at home.

Just before I finished studies, I chose to take up Innovation & Entrepreneurship as an elective subject because the term 'innovation' was fancy = ) and cool to me as I enjoy doing new things; and I did have some interest in entrepreneurship. In one of the classes the professor said if you want to know who you naturally are, think about what you loved doing during the ages 9/10 - 13/14. For me, I was selling lemonade (ice-block) at the games in the village then and thoroughly enjoyed what I was doing! I could foresee business opportunity there. I was a small monopoly in the market because I was the only one making iced-blocked lemonade - my stock would sell out in no time. When I thought about all those, I broke down. I had finally discovered who I am and what I ought to be. I may be an entrepreneur trapped in engineering.

Now the puzzles began to fit together. God directs our steps and does answers prayers in ways you and I cannot even imagine. I now know what to do with my life to fit into God's greater plan for humanity. Everyone has a purpose (Jeremiah 29:11) and each one will be held accountable for the blessings they have been blessed with. Our lives are like grass. We are here today and gone tomorrow. It's sad that so many people leave this world without ever discovering and actually living out the purpose for which they were placed here on Earth. I hope you can find and fulfill yours too.

2-years of prayer answered and finally, VISA GRANTED. "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27)

Sometime back I posted that I hung my scholarship and life on this very scripture, Isaiah 58:13-14. I would not attend classes on Saturday-Sabbaths and it was not easy! especially for a double-masters degree student who was also working in Australia and raising a family simultaneously. There were days I broke down.

On Saturdays when my colleagues went to class, I chose to run around the streets of Gold Coast, along parks and bus stops placing Christian books, health pamphlets and other self-help literature. I had only 2-requests and every time during those runs, I would ask God over and over again: one of them was to remain in Australia for an extended period of time mainly to give our children exposure but more important to me, I felt my physical presence was much needed in Australia for Ministry than back home. I knew I would have the papers and could still serve my country in various ways until I return.

Anyone who is an Australia Awards Awardee knows this is difficult. Even the Australian Immigrations required hundreds of thousands of kina for my family and I to remain in Australia for the requested length of stay. Today, all our visas have been GRANTED. = ) God Yahweh has done the impossible one more time again! He had orchestrated everything in the lead up to this visa approval - it's a long story.

I am still learning about this God but one thing He has proven time and again is that He can do anything! The Bible says His word is tried and tested, it is like pure gold. What we need to ask from God is faith. No matter what the situation is, tell God and ask Him even for big things because He is a BIG GOD. Anything is possible for those who believe (Mark 9:23) and will put in the work.
