Many women in Port Moresby have limited education and work experience and struggle to make ends meet. One thing they often posses is a deep traditional knowledge of bilum weaving, but no market to sell their works. We help create market access, with steady demand for their skills providing women with a source of income stream.
Meet one of our weavers; Sila Bande. Sila currently lives in Hohola, one of our partner communities in Port Moresby. She supplies us with bilums as a source of secure and consistent income she is able access from the safety of her home.
We’re not changing the world, but offering a reliable sale channel for women to earn money using their traditional skills helps them support their families live in PNG capital.

It’s been too long since we’ve held an Archive sale, so we’re hosting one this Saturday 4th April!

Join us between 10-4 at our Port Moresby Studio for discounts on a huge selection of seconds, samples, discontinued styles and one off pieces.

Sale will be while stocks last and all sales are final.

For our international community, we will carry the sale over to online if we have surplus pieces to share with you, so watch this space.

Hope to see you on Saturday so we can wish you a happy Easter in person ###
