THRILLER BOOK REVIEW! 😱

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Suspense

A mother loses her child for 10 years but she has never given up hope of finding her daughter.

My thoughts:
●Ellie suddenly disappeared and her family didn't look around the neighborhood when she's just a few kilometers away, she was not even seen by anyone. Her parents and the police could've done better not just declaring her case as a "runaway".
●Everytime the POV switches to mom, I roll my eyes. (Sorry, I just find her self-centered) 😭 also saying that the middle child should've been the one to disappear? Total nutcase.
Honestly, I get why she doesn't get along with Hanna.
●This book has so much potential, but got messy towards the end.
●I feel bad for Ellie especially in thag letter. She doesn't deserve anything that happened to her. 💔

Overall? It's still a good read. One of Lisa J's heartbreaking novel.

Genre: Romance, Magic Realism, Timetravel

I like this book but here are my thoughts:

●i really love love love Clementine's name, no doubt about it.
●the story is more about grief and finding your passion again.
●for me, the beginning was a bit boring but eventually gets exciting towards the middle.
●iwan is a green-flag🍃. period
●i couldn't stop reading it in the middle but for me it got really really slow towards the end.
●idk I just really need more of clementine and iwan, the last few chapters was repetitive.

PS. I still like this book, but I think the last few chapters could have been better. 🙈

Sequel please? We need more of Iwan and Lemon 🍋
