The Regional Grand Bagsakan and 3rd CARP Negosyo Agraryo Fair 2026 concluded with over โฑ2.1 million in total sales, recording โฑ1.84 million in cash sales and more than โฑ267,000 in booked sales, while opening new business opportunities for participating Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) from Cagayan Valley. Held from 11 to 14 July 2026 at Ayala Malls Marquee, Angeles City, Pampanga, the four-day fair featured more than 60 MSMEs and ARBOs from Region 2, and joined by six (6) MSMEs from Pampanga, offering visitors a diverse selection of quality local products and fresh agricultural produce.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2, in partnership with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Region 2, the fair showcased fresh fruits and vegetables, processed food products, coffee and cacao, handicrafts, furniture, home dรฉcor, fashion accessories, and other proudly local products from across Cagayan Valley. One of the fair's major highlights was the Business-to-Business (B2B) Matching Sessions in partnership with the Bureau of Market Development, Promotions, and OTOP (BMDPO), where participating MSMEs and ARBOs met with institutional buyers from the National Capital Region (NCR) to present their products, discuss supply capabilities, and explore potential business partnerships.
Moreover, the B2B Matching Sessions generated promising business leads, with several exhibitors opening discussions for possible wholesale supply arrangements and future collaborations. It allowed participating MSMEs and ARBOs to gain valuable market insights, understand buyer requirements, and establish connections that can lead to sustained business opportunities beyond the fair. Together with the booked sales generated during the event, these outcomes reflect the growing market potential of Cagayan Valley products and the increasing demand for quality, proudly R2-made products.
The successful staging of the Regional Grand Bagsakan and 3rd CARP Negosyo Agraryo Fair 2026 is another step forward in bringing Cagayan Valley enterprises closer to new markets. Through initiatives like this, DTI Region 2 continues to help MSMEs and ARBOs become more competitive by creating opportunities to reach new customers and market. # #
