I’m a mom, a Psychology graduate, and a Licensed Psychometrician—but above all, I’m Aina’s mommy.

Why don’t toddlers listen agad? 🤔

Minsan mapapaisip tayo, “Ilang beses ko nang sinabi!” 😅

The truth is, toddlers aren’t usually being pasaway. Their brains are still learning self-control, attention, and following instructions. Kaya kahit narinig ka nila, hindi ibig sabihin kaya na nilang sumunod agad.

Sa kulturang Pinoy, madalas nating marinig ang, “Ang kulit mo naman!” o “Sumunod ka nga!” Pero mas natututo ang bata kapag kalmado ang approach natin.

✨ Instead of repeating many times, try:
❤️ Get down to their eye level.
❤️ Say one simple instruction.
❤️ Give them a few seconds to process.

Remember: They’re not giving you a hard time—they’re having a hard time learning. 🌱
