𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐢 participated in the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐬, held on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟖–𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐀𝐓𝐈-𝐑𝐃𝐂 𝟏𝟏, 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞.

The three-day training enhanced our knowledge and capabilities in organizational leadership and management, while providing valuable opportunities to establish meaningful professional connections. The insights and strategies gained will be applied to further strengthen our business operations and support ChocoMori’s continued growth.

𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢-𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

ChocoMori was among the 35 DA-assisted start-up MSMEs that participated in the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬: 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, held on August 10–14, 2026, in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Organized by the Department of Agriculture – Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (DA-AMAS) in partnership with the Food Development Center (FDC), the training provided practical knowledge on food processing, product development, shelf-life studies, food safety, labeling, and FDA registration requirements.

As part of the program, we also toured the processing facility of Sangkutsa Food Products Inc., gaining firsthand insights into food processing operations and facility practices. We also had the opportunity to review and improve ChocoMori’s product labels and packaging based on the knowledge gained during the training.

This experience strengthens ChocoMori’s commitment to developing safe, quality, compliant, and market-ready Filipino chocolate products. 🍫🇵🇭

To further strengthen the market competitiveness of local entrepreneurs, the DTI Davao del Norte Provincial Office successfully conducted the Seminar-Workshop on Visual Merchandising Strategies for Market Readiness of MSMEs on June 9, 2026, at AVR 5, New City Hall, Tagum City.

The seminar-workshop gathered food and non-food producers from across the province to master the art of 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘴. Leading the session was Mr. Jomari Valdez, a seasoned Multimedia Arts professional from Upgrade Innolab, who provided participants with actionable frameworks to transform their product displays into powerful sales tools.

The session concluded with a hands-on workshop where participants audited their current setups, drafted improved layout designs, and committed to a 30-day action plan to refine their retail displays ahead of upcoming trade fairs and online marketing opportunities.

As such, DTI Davao del Norte remains committed to providing our local producers with the technical skills necessary to thrive in both physical trade fairs and online marketplaces.
