DECEMBER 9 | GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION PHILIPPINES

COP 28 takes place from November 30 to December 12, 2023 in Dubai, UAE. This year, climate negotiations are critical to fight for climate justice and system change. All movements across the world representing workers, farmers, indigenous peoples, women, and other marginalized sectors must unite and mobilize to demand all governments and corporations, especially the Global North, to commit to real solutions with the required urgency to address the climate crisis.

This coming December 9, coinciding with the final and most crucial days of the negotiations, multiple countries and cities will observe Global Day Of Action (GDOA).

The Philippine Movement for Climate Justice , together with country’s civil society organizations and movements, and the Catholic Church will take the lead in the meaningful action.
