As we remember those we’ve loved and lost,
our hearts ache for what once was.
Yet even in our pain, God is near.
He meets us in our sorrow and reminds us that in Christ,
death is not the end of the story.
Because of Jesus, death has lost its final word.
For those who belong to Him, heaven is not a distant place;
it is home.
A home where pain has no power,
where love is made whole,
and where His presence fills every longing space.
So as we grieve, we do not grieve without hope.
We rest in the promise that one day,
the same hands that wiped away every tear
will hold us,and all who are His,
forever.
“I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”
