Half of 2026 is officially behind us, and our hearts are so full. 🥹❤️🍬🍭😘✨

One question we get asked a lot is: “Why don’t you post more often when you make so many beautiful Lollies and Kissies every day?”

The truth is… most days, we’re simply busy making orders. Sometimes, by the time we remember to take photos, it’s already late at night after hours of production. Behind LollyKiss is still a micro business with just a few dedicated pairs of hands carefully crafting every custom order from scratch.

As we approach our fifth year, this has been our busiest season yet, and we don’t take that for granted.

To every client who trusted us with your weddings, birthdays, corporate events, concerts, launches, and life’s biggest milestones: thank you. You’ve made LollyKiss part of memories that will be treasured for years.

This past year also brought challenges. Our suppliers increased their prices three times (twice this year alone), yet we’ve chosen not to raise ours because we know every celebration comes with a budget.

What keeps us going are your messages.

Hearing that our candies became the highlight of your event, that your guests couldn’t stop talking about them, or that they were remembered long after the celebration. That’s why we do what we do.

We’ve always believed we’re not just making candy. We’re creating something rare, thoughtful, and worthy of becoming part of someone’s happiest memories.

To our small team: thank you for your dedication, your malasakit, and for always finding a way to accommodate even the last-minute orders. LollyKiss wouldn’t be what it is without you.

P.S. To my brother Elgin: thank you. I know you’re still here with me, guiding and protecting LollyKiss. I often wonder what this journey would have been like if we were still building it together. (Possibly more decent and regular social media posts and better Marketing for sure!) I hope we’re continuing the dream you always wished for this little brand. I miss you every day.

🍭✨ Being a microbusiness owner in the Philippines isn’t easy. Our products are all handmade, poured with time, effort, and heart. Yet we still struggle day by day while faithfully paying our dues and business taxes. And for what? To watch corruption waste the very resources we’ve all worked so hard for. 💔

I rarely share my personal story here because I’ve always been very private. But the truth is, this business was meant to be run with my favorite person in the world. (You can still find that post from 2022 on our Instagram page.) My brother Elgin passed away just days before our intended launch, and it’s a story that still brings me to tears. If he were still here, he’d be the first one to speak up (even through this brand page) because standing for what’s right has always mattered to us. ✊🏼

Since 2021, I’ve kept this little business alive despite my own battles with crippling grief and mental health. I’ve chosen to pay my teammates fairly — beyond what is just “puwede na” — because integrity and care are always worth fighting for. What makes it sadder is knowing our government fails to provide the benefits and support they deserve. I can’t turn a blind eye to that reality. Despite it all, I will continue to fight for what is right. Ang namulat ay hindi na muling pipikit. 🇵🇭

To my fellow small business owners: I see you. I feel your fight. May you never lose hope or lose the spark in your craft. Because no matter how heavy these times are, what we do still brings light, joy, and inspiration to others.
